Patricia C. Bernard
Patricia C. Bernard has been supporting Michael Bernard’s work in all aspects of development. Working closely together with her husband and business partner, Michael, on his projects in education, business and personal development, Patricia has contributed extensively to the many books, videos, curriculum programs, training programs, public workshops, parent talks, eLearning courses and media interviews they have produced over the last 30 years and on-going.
Her most rewarding experience and success has been helping raise two children (now young adults); Jonathon and Alexandra and encouraging them toward becoming fine human beings.
During her children’s schooling years, Patricia had the opportunity to serve on educational committees and work closely in the classroom with her children’s teachers. In 2001, she received the Advocacy for Youth Award from the Association of American University of Women for her achievement in running the highly successful monthly parent talks Coffee Break, for her community in Laguna Beach, California.
The talks given by renowned experts on a variety of child/youth related topics became a huge success and continue to this day. Her recent position as State Co-coordinator for You Can Do It! Education in Victoria and Tasmania further provided her with the opportunity to learn more about the needs of parents, teachers and students today.
